I must be alpha then because I thought Fury was fantastic, in an old-school kind of way.

I really enjoyed that movie. No idea how realistic it was, but impressive what they did with the tanks.

I agree. It had an interesting premise but it surpassed my limits of suspended disbelief. I also didn't particularly ever want to see Joaquin Phoenix masturbating to Scarlett Johansson's voice.

I would assume that most everyone here is an alpha.

  5. The Gospel of Coach Mac.... Netflix documentary on Bill McCartney and the Colorado Buffaloes.
Great throwback documentary. The best interviews were the former players; Charles Hagan had a great anecdote on McCartney's recruiting trip to Compton. He and Charles Jonhson talking about Orange Bowl rematch with ND, when Hagan got hurt was funny. Eric Bienemy and Chad Brown were good interviews. Bienemy is HUGE now.
They had six of those guys sitting around with McCartney talking about their time at Boulder. They had some good zingers on Nebraska, too!

If there was a more botched job than the fifth down, I don't remember it.

Are there other voices with which you be more comfortable watching him masturbate?
    Gilbert Gottfried, maybe?

Creed this afternoon on a rare day off and Spotlight this evening.

Both are as spectacular as advertised.

Caught up with "Perks of Being a Wallflower." Honest to gosh, I can't remember why I put this on Netflix to begin with - not exactly my usual sort of thing, that "Based on a YA novel" adaptation, but I thought it was quite well done. And for just a second, I think I caught a glimmer of Emma Watson acting.

Ridiculous Six - it is clearly a Sandler film with all that that entails. I will say it looks like there was some effort in this one, it doesn't play like a paid vacation with friends. Some good gags. Better than Seth McFarlane's effort. It's not great, but I genuinely laughed in a few scenes.
