    Double OT.

Brad Stevens sure doesn't draw up the kind of game-winners he did at Butler.

Whoa. 24-0, double OT, that one did not look promising. The legs tomorrow night are going to be a big question mark. Hopefully Thompson is ready to come back.

Not only did that Bucks team have Kareem and Oscar, it was the defending champ coming off a 66-win season and going on to win 63 that season.

I still remember that game. Sunday afternoon on ABC.

I do remember the Bucks being one of the victims earlier in that streak in a game at LA. I think people also forget that at that point the Bucks were in the Western Conference so they played the Lakers plenty of times that season. In reality, the Western Conference Finals was the series that decided the champion that season.

Just out of curiosity, why do you discount winning 34 straight and winning the title?

So if another team fired its coach right now and wanted to hire Luke Walton, could he get out of his contract?

I'm sure not, and anyway the Warriors might need him for the long haul. Kerr's situation does not sound good with mysterious headaches.

For all of his praise in terms of drawing up plays in crucial situations, in both Regulation and OT, the Celtics go to play was everyone stand around while Thomas took bad shots and ignored open teammates. And twice the Warriors got wide open looks at the basket from out of bounds plays with a second to go.

And I forgot how horrible Tommy Heinsohn is as an "analyst".

Lifelong Lakers guy here who is pretty territorial about the Pacific Division (read: unwilling to cede historic greatness to anyone else) but what the Warriors are doing is pretty unbelievable and just about impossible not to appreciate as a hoops fan. It will never ever happen but then again, imagine if the Warriors went 82-0. Why not?

I can see why teammates in both Sacramento and Phoenix were loath to play with Thomas.
