Got smoked in both leagues. Sigh. You know who would have probably won it for me in one of them? Doug Fucking Baldwin! Thanks a lot Dick! :)

Started Baldwin. Think I made the right choice.

I enter the playoffs in one league next week with no solid No. 2 RB after Rawls went down. Will pick up Hightower if I can get him. Otherwise, I'll have to roll the dice on Murray or Langford.

Ha. Made my choice before he ever brought it up.

Had a huge day today. Will almost certainly win two and probably all three. Even if I lose the one -- I'm up 18 with Beckham to go, while my opponent has Hopkins and the Houston defense -- all three teams will be in the playoffs.

Drawback to never passing on picking up a good player off waivers during the season: A month ago, someone dropped Russell Wilson. I grabbed him. I easily earned the top seed with Palmer, though. My playoff opener is next week. Wilson is hot and he faces the Browns. But Palmer has been amazingly consistent all season and faces the Eagles, who gave up 10 passing TDs combined in back-to-back weeks recently. My first instinct is to stick with Palmer.

Of course Gronk plays and scores a touchdown, and has almost as many points than all of my receivers and TE combined. For an added kick in the nuts, Hopkins hasn't done squat, so I'll only lose by three or so, without Gronk or Dalton.

I'm feeling good about my decision to go with Gronkowski over Rodgers and Watson, even though it was a risk with him playing the late game.

Up 40+ right now, and my opponent has Beckham left for tomorrow. Beckham scares me, but in a non-PPR, low-scoring league, I like my chances to advance.

I stand corrected. Eli has 34 points in my league right now after that 84-yard strike to Beckham and Brady finished with 22.

Who'd you go with and how are you doing?

Also, I was lucky that Bortles went nuts in the second half and Gronk had a strong game. Even with Beckham scoring 27 so far, I lead by 22.

Got eliminated in my other league, though given that I inherited an absolutely shitty dynasty squad, making the playoffs was a victory in itself.

I went with Brady, but I still won. I had Beckham.
