He is not a Republican by most measures but I don't think its a plot. I can certainly understand why some would believe it though.

 

Let's assume for a minute that this was the original plan...

Does anyone think Trump would stand by it at this point, when he's leading in the Republican primary polls, and has a chance to actually win?

What really makes the idea of this theory so delicious is the idea of Trump double crossing the Clintons, winning the Presidency, and seeing Hillary left at the alter again.
