Just wait until those folks find out the school is teaching kids to use Arabic numerals.

Are they? From what I've heard, math isn't what it used to be.

How much do you want to bet that a good portion of this country doesn't know an Arabic numeral from a hole in the ground and would be consumed with blind rage at the very suggestion that the liberal appeasers and indoctrinators at schools teach them to our kids?

Can we really not figure out who visits Inspire magazine's website:

Mr. Marquez told investigators that he and Mr. Farook learned from Inspire magazine how to build bombs, and that Mr. Marquez figured out how to make a detonation device using Christmas lights. Mr. Marquez also acknowledged that around 2012, he bought the smokeless powder that Mr. Farook used in building pipe bombs.

Islam is the tool used to radicalize:

The government document shows Farook as clearly being the force guiding Marquez toward violent extremism.

After Marquez moved to Riverside, his next-door neighbor introduced him to Islam. By 2007, Marquez had converted to the religion and Farook began educating him about the views of Anwar al-Awlaki, the U.S.-born imam and Islamist lecturer who inspired numerous terrorist attacks and was killed in a 2011 drone strike. The two men read al-Qaeda’s English-language Inspire magazine, which has published directions for building bombs, and watched videos promoting violent extremism.

Not for nothing...that freeway was the one I commuted on, through that very pass, every day for 10 years; it's a parking lot for 10 miles every afternoon...and this plan would have caused massive amounts of bloodshed.

What's scary is that until Farook and his wife launched their attack is that people like JayFarrar would say these guys were just dreamers, unwilling to die for their cause, and without the "means" to pull of their dream.

We've seen repeatedly where and FBI informant will provide a want-to-be Jihadist with an inert bomb, and he will get arrested when he goes to use it. And, immediately, we will hear from the left how the guy was a patsy, set up by the FBI. He was a dreamer. He didn't really have the means to pull of his attack until the FBI entrapped, and assisted him.

    Bullshit.

The "means" to pull of an attack is nothing more than the ability to acquire some simple weapons/tools. And, they have a guidebook in Inspire magazine.

The Boston bombers didn't need anything more than pressure cookers and nails. Farook and his wife just needed a couple of guns.

Farook and his sidekick's plan only required easily assembled pipe bombs and a couple of guns.

I think Bin Laden's corpse would tell you "the left" is as strong, if not stronger, against terrorism as "the right."

But anyway...I've said here before I won't be a bit surprised when a terrorist team takes rental cars, loads up on safety flares, and drives across the west lighting wildfires that would do billions of dollars in damage.

"Get yer tools of terrorism here...now save 9 bucks!"

I have zero military training other than reading thrillers and military fiction. I could spend $100 at Home Depot and wreak havoc. This counrty is so very big, and there are so many soft targets, that protecting everything is completely impossible. If someone of ill-will, be it a nut, someone out for thrills, religiously motivated, anti-abortion advocate, white supremacist, whatever, wants to do some damage it is pathetically easy. If you add in even a little training and access to military grade weaponry, the stakes increase dramatically.

Bottom line is that I could buy a case of mason jars, a gallon of gas, some soap flakes, shred an old foam cushion, and start fires all over town, and if I did it smart they would have to be extremely lucky to catch me.

Guns just make it faster and easier to kill a lot of people.

Muslims make up a little less than 1% of our population, but liberals, when trying to make a point about terrorism, always makes sure to lump in Muslim terror with anything else they can think of, to try and make it look like the threat is proportional to that presented by other groups. It makes them feel good about themselves. They didn't specifically mention Muslims.

    It's insane.

And, lets remember, Dylan Roof tried to start a race war. That was firmly rejected by the rest of America. He was frustrated that he couldn't find other members of the White Power movement who were as radical as he was.

Someone like Farook can find like minded Muslims everywhere. He even found one on a dating site, and was able to get her a visa to bring her here.
