My point was about Cruz sleazing out, though.

Right, which was partially made possible by the media taking the bait, which should never happen.

Yeah. She really dragged that infant with her everywhere.

Actually it looked more like some kind of stuffed doll or ventriloquist dummy.

But then again, so did mom most of the time.

The cartoon including them was so horrible and offensive that he's including in his mailers. Milking the outrage, indeed.

Oh my gosh! This is outrageous.

Political candidates should never use an incident that inflames their supporters to raise money. Why, it's unprecedented.

Who would ever do such a thing? The fact that he is doing so proves conclusively that the underlying offense wasn't actually so bad.

If you object to your children being made a part of the campaign after you make them a part of the campaign, don't use the objectionable content yourself.

    It's hypocritical.

That's the Trumpian "neener neener, they did it first!" argument that shouldn't be used past the age of 6.

Sorry, but I disagree. If you don't want your kids criticized, then don't use them as political props and then hide behind them.

Had he just done a video with his family wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, that's one thing. Yeah, there's a little byproduct of politicizing as voters get to see him as a family man, but that's not the primary purpose of the message. Instead, he used them as a main part of his message.

A couple of abortions could have avoided this messiness.
