Pats win the OT coin toss - and declare they want to kick. Guy didn't understand why he didn't then get to choose which side to defend. Hilarious.

That's going to be a very interesting press conference.

There's a part of me that believes Belichick had one priority today:

    Try and stay healthy today.

Healthy with the possibility of the Jets in a 3-6 matchup at Foxboro would be a best scenario.

What are the odds he made that decision within seconds of the Steelers loss going final?

And it cost them their season thanks to the Patriots' stupidity.

Just awful execution on that last series. The sack is a killer, especially with James uncovered down the field. Two linemen blocked nobody on the screen and then they take two deep shots? Of course, Bryant fails to catch one right in his hands. The second one was a nice play by the defense.

Maybe Tomlin will finally learn to stop giving away field goals. I don't know if it would have changed the result, but getting stuffed on that fourth down early rather than taking a 3-0 lead certainly hurt.

The offense should be able to win a game in that circumstance, but it never should have come down to just one drive.
