For me, this was one of those god-awful years where everything you do backfires. It started with a horrible draft and just continued through almost every waiver wire claim I made. Even the ones I did right didn't work. I dropped and added David Johnson twice during the course of the year and, naturally, didn't have him at the end (not that it mattered by then).
In an IDP league I drafted Luke Kuechly in the sixth or seventh round, cut him because he got a concussion in Week 1 and missed a few weeks, and never got him back. He wound up being a top 10 IDP player.
I sat on Peyton Manning waiting for him to come around while guys like Andy Dalton and Blake Bortles were sitting on the wire.
Dion Lewis and Chris Johnson were both bright spots until they went on IR.
I scooped the league and got Charcandrick West, who never did much of anything except the week I benched him because he sucked.
I had six players who will finish the season on IR. That doesn't include Peyton, who might as well have been.
I had a total of eight running backs on my roster this season, at one time or another. They scored a total of eight rushing touchdowns when I had them.
Just a nightmare season. Hearing other people talk about being relevant in Week 14 and 15 hurt my soul a little bit.

Dominated the fifth-place game in both of my leagues! Finished first in the regular season in one and made the playoffs on the last weekend in the other. Screw you, Matt Ryan! And without Devonta Freeman in both leagues, I'd have had no shot. Dez and McCoy injuries hurt me badly. And DeMarco Murray was AWFUL!

Best record in the league, but lost the semi on a dropped touchdown pass. To me it's not so much a competitive thing as a way to help keep track of what is going on in the league. The QB situation though was a mess. I went through Mariotta, Dalton, Winston and Taylor before it was all over. And don't get me started about the running back situation in Denver between Hillman and Anderson. Seemed like whomever I picked, sucked that week and the other one dominated.

I love the competitive aspect of fantasy football, but I also like that it helps me keep up with the entire league, instead of just the NFC East. Same with baseball. I'm far more knowledgeable about the entire league than I would be without fantasy baseball.

Yes. I love the NFL, and anything that keeps me involved with it to a greater degree is a good thing. Except those years when I suck. Then I hate football. :)

Might not have happened if I traded you the Bears' TE.

TE was a lost position for me. In fact, I started three tight ends in the last three weeks.

Finished up with the last of my five leagues today. Won four and lost in the final of another by 1.88 points.
