Clemens and Bonds give the "You Are Not Authorized" message, as well.

    So does Hoffman-Trevor.

An example of how no one in 2016 can wait 10 more seconds once they think they have a SCOOP! to actually verify its accuracy.

    With one hour to go:

At 44.4 percent reported (208 of 468 ballots):

Griffey is still at 100 percent
Piazza is at 86.1 percent (He's getting in)
    Bagwell is at 76.9 percent
    Raines is at 76 percent
Hoffman is at 62 percent (by comparison Lee Smith is at 27.9)
    Schilling is at 60.1 percent
    Mussina is at 51.4 percent
    Bonds is at 51.9 percent
    Clemens is at 51.4 percent
    Edgar is at 47.6
Trammell getting a nice last-ballot kiss at 43.8

Over those same ballots, Edgar has gained 35 votes, Mussina has gained 30, Bagwell has gained 25, Trammell has gained 24, Schilling has gained 16 and Raines has gained 15.

Remember, that 468 is just the max number of votes available. If there are only 450 or so returned, the percentages are higher.

Wagner has gotten 19 votes (9.5 percent) and I think is pretty safe to stay on the ballot. He needs four more votes. Sosa still needs seven votes to stay on ballot. Every other holdover guy already has enough to stay on the ballot. Edmonds now has six votes but isn't going to make it to a second ballot without a major push. I'll mention Nomar! at this point because last year he got 30 votes and stayed alive. So far he has one.

    Bagwell is at 77.4 percent
    Raines is at 75.5 percent
Hoffman is at 62.7 percent (by comparison Lee Smith is at 28.3)
    Schilling is at 59.9 percent
    Mussina is at 50.5 percent
    Bonds is at 51.9 percent
    Clemens is at 51.4 percent

Trammell getting a nice last-ballot kiss at 44.3

Wagner stayed on at 10.5, Sosa stayed on at 7.0. Edmonds got 2.5 (11 votes), Nomar also dropped off (went from 30 to 8 votes).

Mike Sweeney (3 votes), David Eckstein (2 votes) and Jason Kendall (2 votes) joined Garrett Anderson, which was known, to get a vote.

Amazing that Griffey is the first overall No. 1 draft pick to make it to Cooperstown.
