heyabbott's motivations aside, you have to admit there's a strong case to be made for the difficulty of being LeBron's coach. With a player like that, it is kind of odd that he's on his sixth coach in 13 years. Plus there is all the World Wide Wes/entourage talk (Calipari seemed to be the resident coach-in-waiting for a long time), and now with this Klutch stuff it's fair to say there's a lot more drama than there should be.

Most of the other superstars seem to want their coach out because he can't get them to the next level. That doesn't appear to be the primary motivation here. And if Mark Jackson was indeed LeBron's preferred candidate, that's completely opposite of what he should be looking for.

Coaching superstars is a skill in and of itself. Phil Jackson and Pat Riley know how to do it, but it can be a real struggle for some people who may know X's and O's.

On his show, Jalen Rose always points out that Jackson, Riley, Popovich and Red account for something like 60 to 70 percent of all championships won the in NBA. (Jerry West might be in that group too.) While there is obviously a huge importance to having a superstar player in the NBA, having a great leadership structure can be just as important.

Warriors win by 30 and put 120 on the best defensive team in the NBA. Starters sat for the fourth. These guys are on another planet right now. Now they just need to win in San Antonio and I think we can shut this season down.

But Charlotte wins on buzzer-beating 3. What a night in NorCal. Cousins ends night with 56 after fouling out.

Mark Stein and Ramona Shelburne just reported Blake Griffin broke his hand during some kind of team-related altercation. Sounds...non-eventful.
