That is tied with "It's an issue for you," for my favorite quote of the week.

CTE is obviously a long-term health concern for football players. But has a study ever been done on how prevalent it is in other professions, or the population at large? Seriously asking.

That, and a more pertinent question would be how CTE injuries for football compare with other contact sports, especially hockey.

I'd put soccer in there, as well. As much as I and others like to rag on it as a wuss sport, it really is a physical and violent game at the highest levels. There's probably enough of a sample size of players, too, to do a good study.

All those headers really do cause a jolt. Not to mention the times players crack heads against each other trying to get to a ball in the air first.

At least from the studies I've seen, none of those sports come close to football. Girls' soccer ranks second IIRC, well behind football.

Anybody see the FOX sports girl ask Gronkowski for "a little Magic Mike" on some show today? I can't get the link to work on my phone, but good lord, she seemed ready hit the sheets with him right then and there. Completely unprofessional.

Redefines "bedroom eyes." Unprofessional, yes. Yet, not surprised it was on a Fox network.

In my OHL days she worked for one of the local community cable channels hosting the games in St. Catharines, Ont. She's, uh, come a long way from those days.

Julie Stewart-Binks does a lot of Ducks hockey stuff for Fox Sports West/Prime Ticket. She's about 20 percent on asking good questions, but she is so goofy looking I can't take her seriously. I think they hired her because she looks like the Ducks' mascot, Wild Wing.
