Non-starters. A Democrat will choose the next justice now or a year from now.

    1. It would require a constitutional amendment. I'd rather go for an age limit of 75.

    2. Obungo could nominate Jesus H. Christ and he wouldn't get confirmed.

These theories that Obama killed Scalia are crazy.

Obviously Hillary did it. She has experience in this sort of thing.

I respect the idea of a Supreme Court justice like Scalia being an originalist.

But if you are going to say there was no way that the founding fathers intended for gays to marry, how to you get around the fact that they also didn't think blacks and women deserved the same rights as white men.

So either you agree with that or you realize that any change from "what the founders intended" is possible and perhaps needed.

I never knew Scalia suggested Kagan to Axelrod until that column yesterday. Was that out there before then?

Obama hasn't lost a fight with the Republican Congress yet. He would cave to them now why?

It would be funny if Obama nominated Mitch McConnell to see how hard he'd try to delay his own nomination.

13th and 14th Amendment fixed the founders' problem with slavery and subsequent treatment
