    It's not about giving resistance to the nominee. It's the cowardness of not wanting to go on record of giving resistance that is the issue.

    Miers was withdrawn because Republicans balked.

    The longer this plays out the better the Democrats' chances become in November. HRC will do a great job filling the vacancy with the help of a Senate majority.

    The GOP does seem to be doing a great job of giving voters a reason to look elsewhere to find candidates who, you know, want to actually do the work.

    Good point. I'm guessing the board Republicans simply run fro this one, though I'd love to see the rhetorical pretzels they would twist themselves into trying to argue against it.

    Neutral isn't wrong. The Democrats would probably be doing the same thing, but that doesn't justify what the Republicans seem poised to do.

    He also said in the debate that if an Obama nominee is seated, that will threaten the religious liberty of Americans.

    Trump and Cruz are wackier, but Rubio is truly annoying, trying to see how many scary buttons he can push.
