Except the info wasn't classified, or, as Hillary said, wasn't marked as classified. We're back to you expecting her to be a mind reader and know that whether every document is classified or not without the required markings. Not being a mind reader is not a crime, especially when, as I already noted and you didn't respond, she's not under criminal investigation.

And, as the article pointed out, Secretaries of State would have had to have every single email go through a SCIF because they could be potentially be classified retroactively years down the road, which would be a ridiculously cumbersome process and they wouldn't be able to get any work done.

Now, I'm going out to run a couple of errands, so don't have your head explode if I don't respond for a half hour or more.

Baron, if I read a classified document, with all the appropriate markings, and then sit down at my computer and re-type the info and print it out, I now have a "new document" without any markings. Right?

Is that new document unclassified because the lack of markings, or is it classified because the information it contains is known to be classified?

Just answer that question -- even if you believe it to be a hypothetical -- and I'll be pleased as punch.

Conservatives convinced that the latest scandal will let them end Hillary Clinton's career remind me of Cubs fans. Any year now it's gonna happen, guys.

It's more like the liberals who are convinced that this is the end of Donald Trump.

Actually, it's more like the establishment Republicans who are convinced that this is the end of Donald Trump. I think they're more worried about the damage he is doing to the party than liberals.

Hell, I hope Donald Trump sticks around the whole time. He's amusing and he's perfectly willing to damage the other GOP candidates. His 9-11 remarks during the debate were priceless. Trump should hire Christie just to torment Rubio.

Your question is based upon a false premise. The document wasn't classified at that time.

Do fifth graders know what a SCIF is?

    What document wasn't classified?

They took information from classified documents and passed that info along over unsecured email.

    Says who?

And don't cite the New York Post or other right-wing shriek machine sites.
