Who wants it banished? I was wondering if it was used as a euphemism. He clarified that it was used to describe Kate Upton-type figures. I don't think it's a very precise term. Do you not believe that writing should contain clarity?

And then you were dismissive of the idea that euphemisms bother me.

"Eh, no they don't," you said, with your familiar moral clarity.

Well, how the fuck do you know?

Well, again, you're the one taking posters to task for not having appropriate clarity in this thread.

And let's be clear: You want to call Ashley Graham "fat" on a message board, so be it. It's definitely not a euphemism. Somebody else wants to use "curves," that's fine too.

You'll use euphemisms to serve your argument. "Love handles" is a euphemism. You used it. I write it doesn't bother you based on the evidence.

All I did in this thread was point out your burgeoning lecture against euphemisms seems odd when you throw around the term "overweight" in a discussion about sexual attractiveness and beauty. It's like writing that a male model is "underbearded."

Is that moralistic? To you I guess it is.

Agreed. Precious is not overweight for a movie character.

Tell you what boys.........you show up to your doorstep, and Ashley Graham is standing there wearing a pair of boxer shorts, a wife beater, holding a 12 pack of beer and a large pizza.......you're going nowhere......for a long long time.
