I'm convinced it's damn near impossible for Hillary to lose the nomination ... but her campaign is sure as hell acting like a group that's worried it could lose the nomination.

Nevada being called for Clinton. As usual, people can't tell the difference between what they want to believe and what the data is telling them.

Clinton is not an ideal candidate by any stretch. She inspires a lot of hate, part of which is misogyny and part of which is her. But she has managed to remain relevant on the national stage despite 25 years of attacks that would have buried weaker candidates. She also fought the most successful politician of the decade to a very narrow loss. There is no Barack Obama in this field on either side:

She is very likely to win the nomination and then probably the presidency. Gerrymandering has helped hide the demographic problems Republicans have nationally that get worse every cycle, but you can't gerrymander the Presidency. A lot of people are going to hate her, but the intensity of their dislike will not make their vote count double.

 

I for one will always associate red t-shirts only with the National Nurses United, especially now that I've heard of them.

FYI, that dastardly HRC is even rubbing their noses in it by wearing a red top in her victory speech tonight!!

Does this sound like your basic honest-to-goodness color duplication?

At a large caucus at the New York casino Clinton staffers were wearing red t-shirts, despite the fact that Clinton has branded blue the entire campaign. Red is if course associated with National Nurses United, has been our color for years and well known in nurses campaigning for Sanders in red scrubs, red shirts, and even our red Bernie Buses that have been prominent in early voting states.

When our nurses walked into the room with cameras and a couple press the Clinton staffers ran over to the corner and quickly changed to blue shirts.

Why did they even have the blue shirts there, cran?

 

She may be the definition of a politician. I think she'll almost say whatever her audience wants to hear. She'll condemn banks and large business but she will take their millions in speaking fees and contributions and tell them she's on their side. Then go outside and tell the hourly and weekly employees that big banks and big business are bad and she'll go after them She's in it for the personal glory

I don't know or care, and I would note that this story is being almost entirely reported by the nurses union, which I had never heard of before this afternoon. And they certainly have no claim on the color red.

Has anybody ever made low-level election shenanigans stick as an attack on a candidate? They always happen and complaining about them never seems to move the needle.
