    That, and he truly does say what a lot of people want to hear. That he will build a (freeeeeeee!) wall and keep illegals out. That we'll bomb ISIS out of existence. That we'll make America "great" again. And so on and so forth. Similarly, one of the big draws of Reagan in 1980 was he was delivering these eloquent speeches of optimism while Carter was doom and gloom.

    Was talking to my stepmother about Trump yesterday. She said "I'm surprised he hasn't been assassinated yet."

    I then pointed out that the type of people who would assassinate a presidential candidate (disaffected white men) are the type of people who would vote for Trump.

    My Bookie.ag has Cruz at +1800 for the nomination. Wow. The odds makers think this is a two-man race now.

    Cruz at +3300 for the whole ball of wax seems like the best bet on the board.
