Actually, that's a pretty good summation of what I've said.

You can also see it in the "battle against political correctness," where people railing against the "easily offended" is really just not-so-subtle code for "sit down, shut up and know your place."

 

Folks are going to start scrambling to get on board the Trump train:

 

I have a step-family member that describes to a T, but he doesn't like Trump near as much as others.

 

A Have telling the Have Nots "don't look at us, we're on your side, it is all the Others' fault" and painting "elitist" on anyone who calls the bullshit is a play as old as civilization itself.

 

Is it a little weird that Rubio's strategy to seize the moment was to go to bed without saying anything last night?

 

He already gave his victory speech after he finished in third place in Iowa. What else do you need to hear?

 

I just want Rubio especially, but Bush and Christie and Kasich and the rest too, to really have to sit and think about this and how it fits in with their worldview. Each of them chased their individual best interest, and the net result was something none of them wanted and that probably could have been avoided with coordinated collective action.

 

And you're an avid Republican or a Democrat that's very concerned the anger wave will give him the opportunity to be the "joke of a POTUS." We've had the most arrogant SOB as president, might as well keep the pattern of extremes going.

And speaking as a registered Republican, this Trump wave is the result of a party that has not lived up to its standards, who has been afraid to fight Obama with anything but no votes. No ideas, no energy.
