    If they had an up-and-comer who was a good candidate, it wouldn't be for the VP spot.

    Ryan is the leading Republican voice and would probably be lapping the field, but he didn't want it.

    I wish I knew why people are so convinced that Trump is going to "get tired of being president and quit." Hell, they were saying that about his campaign a couple months ago.

    He wants this. He revels in it. He isn't going to quit.

    I suppose one problem is just about anybody with a real future and ambition would be hesitant to risk being associated with a losing Trump ticket.

    Biden did not have a problem with alcohol. He doesn't drink, but not because he's an alcoholic.

    I don't know that he would, but doing the rallies and tweeting and humiliating people is clearly fun for him. Who knows if actually doing the job would be?
