Brilliant try, though. Sandoval would've put McConnell in a horrible spot (again). McConnell would've either been forced to go back on his promise and hold hearings, or continue to block a fellow GOPer who is qualified.

This whole gambit is guaranteed to blow up in the Republicans' faces. It always does.

You're talking about a political party that still rage about two people they do not know in a completely different location with no effect on them at all choosing to get married. By definition, Republicans are silly.

I think I agree with you, Rev. But I am not sure if you are being sarcastic.

I am over the moon to see the return of the Pastor. And he always types in blue - not intended as sarcasm.

He's pro-choice. It's a non-starter. RINO, as far as the Court is concerned.

I think it's a great shot over the bow, though. It's going to be very interesting to watch.

If he's the nominee, it'll be easy to brush it off. Obama knows they aren't going to approve a pro-choice candidate. It's so transparent. I don't think Sandoval should accept it. He's just a pawn in political gamesmanship.

I see that you're new around here and that all of your posts are in blue font. Are you aware that blue font on this site is well understood to mean your post was intended to be sarcastic?

He is really old school sj.com, and used to post years and years ago.

Blue font is 'his thing', even when everybody else uses blue for sarcasm.

Trying too hard, Inky. Those two things are not remotely like each other.

It all goes back to Pastor rooting for some obscure, second-tier soccer club in Scotland.
