If you watch the games, you'll see how Curry's points are truly coming at tight situations, its amazing, this year his ability to hit a big shot at a key moment when the Ws truly need it. There's no doubt in my mind that he's the MVP again this year and this year is a special year.

Here's what I love most about this clip. He's under the rim in prime offensive rebound position. The ball's about halfway there, and he knows it's in and starts heading downcourt before it even goes in.

Fun with numbers: LeBron at 30 had already played in more career games than Bird did, including a dozen more playoff games, and scored, like, 4,000-some more points.

Bird never averaged less than 8.5 rebounds a game in his career. LeBron never averaged more than 8, in any season. Bird averaged about 25.5 ppg and 10.8 rpg in his first 6 years. A double double each year. LeBron has never averaged a double-double in even 1year.

Bird was absolutely a better rebounder than James.

    That's it.

And a better Free throw shooter. They both have the same FG%. James is a great passer and so was Bird. The original point isn't that James isn't a prodigious talent. But that he is special, not unique, nor one of a kind.

It's not his stat sheet that makes him unique. He and Bird put together similar stat sheets using completely different skill sets.

Besides, Magic Johnson says LeBron isn't as "unique" as you seem to think. That's the more apt comparison.

Sure looks like Curry with at the minimum a high ankle sprain, although the way that foot went completely under doesn't look good.

    EDIT:
    Nevermind.

    Curry is Superman.

    This game is insane.

Also -- Curry just matched his NBA record for three-pointers in a season, with 286.

    24 games left after tonight.
