MC/Sunshine...what about one of our senators from the Commonwealth?

 

That what she said reflected the mindset of a strong majority of Americans and basically all of Congress at the time and should therefore surprise exactly no one.

 

Which Commonwealth, Mass. or Va.?

 

Virginia. I've seen both Mark Warner and Tim Kaine bandied about, albeit in articles that give me about as much confidence as your standard-issue "new coach" lists.

 

Kaine's name is out there. I think he would be amenable. Don't see Webb seeking the post.

 

I would love the chance to vote for Romney. In a heartbeat.

 

Maybe he'll run someday.

 

I used to really like Mark Warner, but he's repeatedly shown no interest in national politics.

 

He looks like Norv Turner, but without thr gregarious personality.

 

Neither Kaine nor Warner would go down well with the Sanders faction, which is the one she must conciliate before and during the convention.

 

So what?

It's still worth protesting. And protesting her role in it.

 

Rumor is the party will put its support behind him for the open Senate seat in Florida.
