I understand that. You understand that. Think the people cheering the wall and ban on Muslims understands that?

Globalization began in earnest in the early 1970s. America had a head start on the rest of the world to adapt to it. Both sides of the political spectrum had 40 years to develop an education system to combat its worst side effects. It was the silver bullet and a license to continue the American Century well into the 21st. We failed to do it, distracted by the fights on so many other smaller matters. Until we own that failure and fix it, it's all bluster.

Trumpism isn't going to fix that. He's intellectually incurious.

I think the GOP really hurts itself when it does things like trying to block minimum wage increases and enact right-to-work laws, which keep wages lower in those states that have adopted them.

How'd that Right To Work legislation help those Carrier workers in Indiana?

Perhaps my favorite part of the Internet is the proliferation of the average American talking shit about the relative intelligence of successful people.

I didn't say that. I don't use them fancy words. Anyway, I'm above average.

Yep, the guy who keeps lumping together "the blacks," the Muslims," "the Mexicans" as unified groups doesn't say racist things. Suggesting to ban all Muslims because of the acts of a few isn't a racist suggestion. Saying all Mexicans that come to the US are "criminals and rapists" isn't racist. Condoning his supporters assaulting a Black Lives Matter protester isn't racist.

He's not suggesting an outright ban. Are you sure you're a Republican? Your purposeful mischaracterization of an issue is very Democratic.

Also, most Black Lives Matter protesters are racists.
