What, exactly, have they caved to the other side on?

Do you have any data to support what seems to be an assumed premise that Mexicans (living on American soil) are taking low-skill jobs away from American workers?

His speech isn't aimed at Trump die-hards. What percentage of Trump voters would switch their vote?

Mittens called Trump a "phony and a fraud." That oughta do it.

    You keep saying this.

What "blatantly racist" idea does Trump "espouse"?

Now, now, it's been quite peaceful between you and me. Let's not ruin a good thing.

The argument over whether or not to grab lunch at Chick Fil A would be five episodes alone.

It ends with them realizing five hours into the argument that it's Sunday.

Trump's protectionist policies would set the national economy back many, many years. I'm much farther right than Trump on trade related issues. Much farther. (Yes, I understand that unions tend to artificially preserve the status quo, as well.)

The African-American southerner has grown up listening to stories from their grandparents on how they couldn't use the same bathroom as whites, much less have the same economic opportunities. They've seen their parents struggle because they didn't have the same advantages in life that white southerners were able to inherit from their parents.

Let's not pretend this has been a fair contest for economic opportunity all along.

I dint necessary disagree. (Though, again his policies are an opening position in a negotiation. He's never going to slap a 45% tarrif on imports from China.)

Manufacturing jobs that have left aren't coming back. Apple isn't moving their overseas manufacturing back to the U.S.

But, we can do more to improve the economy. We can do better trade deals.
