That's the one thing that would guarantee a Trump victory. It's why he's leading the Republican primary.

Trump will need to be taken down. Unchallenged, people will be drawn to him.

The folks who have been disenfranchised are Dem primary voters.

Any process that includes super-delegates, not chosen by voters is inherently undemocratic.

And, the refusal to release raw vote totals in Iowa -- where Bernie surely beat Hillary -- undermines every argument Dems have ever made about counting every vote.

Trump is leading the Republican primary because he appeals to the slightly bigger of three voting blocs in a three-way race.

Get off the super delegates. They will switch to the winner. They've never decided anything.

YF, there has always been a left wing of the Democratic Party. We call them liberals.

You write this like it will be a negative in a general election.

For a large part of America, this election will be about jobs and the economy. Now, I don't believe that Trump has some magic wand that will bring back manufacturing jobs, but Hillary has wrapped herself around Obama to beat Bernie in the primary campaign.

Bernie has been blasting the economic recovery. He knows wages are not up. He knows real unemployment is up. He knows income disparity is up.

And, Trump is going to hammer Hillary on this.

When she talks about all she's going to do to fix the problems, Trump will point out she's been in a position to do so for 25 years, and has no results.

If you think people are going to vote for Hillary instead of Trump because of his position on global warming, you're insane.

I use it as an example of him being an utter simpleton who is lucky he's famous. Could he win? I suppose. But he's not this messaging genius you think he is.

They are inherently undemocratic, and were created specifically to thwart the will of the people in the event that they chose a candidate unacceptable to party elites.

    You know this. It's unquestionable.

The fact that they haven't been forced to trump the will of the people doesn't mean that's not what they're there for.

Sort of like a strategy to ride things out to a brokered convention.

Yeah, as I said, all elections are puppet shows to a certain extent, but what makes this different is how blatant it is. They're making no bones about who they want as the nominee, and how unacceptable it is that voters have different ideas, up to and including openly discussing loopholes to deny the nomination to the rightful winner.

This should, however, put to rest the debate and expose how highly those in power really regard the "will of the people."

Not at all. Why are you arguing such a silly thing?

An OPEN convention is no different than any election that requires a majority to decide a winner.
