Voted for the war in Iraq.

Led the fight to intervene in Libya.

    Supports more action in Syria.

    Strongly supports Israel.

That's the entire neocon check list.

She's a neocon, and prominent neocons are vocally supporting her over Trump.

See, the problem is you *try* to present yourself as reasonable. But either you know that he "praised Planned Parenthood" while simultaneously calling for it to be defunded, in which case you are dishonest, or you didn't know, in which case you aren't really paying enough attention for your opinions to be worthwhile.

I'm sure Bill Kristol will be surprised to find out that he's a closet Democrat.

He's praised much of the work they've done.

He wants it to stop doing abortions, which would make it an uncontroversial women's health organization, that he would fully fund.

And you think that the left is betraying its stated positions by not supporting that?

If you think that, you're too dumb to listen to. If you don't, then you're concern trolling. Given your history, it's obviously the latter, but come on. At least do it better.

    Isn't he?

Irving Kristol was a disaffected Democrat. Are his son's views any different than his fathers.

The same goes for Norman and John Podhoretz.

If you think a majority agrees with the Dem position on guns, you might want to step outside your little bubble once in a while.

Abortion is pretty much 50-50, although for most people, it's like gay marriage: I may not agree with it, but it's the law of the land and getting pissed won't change that.

As for the other things you cited, none are issues that move the needle nationally.

How about the economy, immigration and national security?

Trump's campaign hasn't spent one second on social issues -- not even to pander on gay marriage.

He's for "women's health", and wants to fund it.

Abortion is incredibly divisive in America. If Planned Parenthood wants to focus on "women's health", they would have no problem securing government funding.

If they want to continue to be an abortion provider, they should understand that government funding will be much harder to secure.

That's a policy argument, which is fine. But you tried to state that the left was hypocritical for not agreeing with that policy, as if they haven't been fighting restrictions on access to abortions for more than a generation.

If TigerVols thinks most Americans are sympathetic to unions, well, that's laughable. I know the Gallup Poll indicates that, but the question is simplistic at best. Whether they should be is not the question.

It was part of a much broader statement.

Trump has praised the work of Planned Parenthood. Repeatedly. Even after criticism from Republicans.

Dems say that Planned Parenthood is about women's health, and that abortion is a small part of what they do. (Three percent!!)

He's willing to fully fund Planned Parenthood as a women's health organization that does not provide abortion.

If that's unacceptable to the left, or to PP, that's fine, but it shows that it is Dems for whom social issues -- and really, mostly abortion -- is paramount.

Trump has offered a compromise. For Dems, there is no compromise on abortion.

You would think that given the support on the left for the pro-choice movement, it would be easy to privately fund abortions for low income women, and also have a fully funded Planned Parenthood, which provided women's health services, but declined to provide abortions.
