Put me down for a 10% chance at a contested convention.

The path is there, but it involves Trump losing several states he's polling ahead in by margins that you *can* lose, but you usually won't.

I think the chances of a contested Republican convention are much higher than most of you are assuming...I'm hearing the guys who run the party say this is their goal, and they are the ones who can make it happen.

They've controlled this thing like gangbusters so far, after all.

Nobody runs either party anymore. They are very weak institutions. The party elite on the other side tried to eliminate any serious challenge to Clinton and failed miserably. The Republican elite worked on the idea that Jeb was a shoo-in and it turned out they were the only people who liked him.

Depends how you define this. Is Clinton having more trouble than she hoped? Yes. Is there any chance she loses the nomination and Debbie Wasserman Schultz doesn't ultimately get her way? No.

I think she's getting just the right amount of competition.

Considering the almost limitless ways Sanders differs from a conventional American candidate, I think he's done well for himself. Not well enough to win, but better than say Bradley did against Gore in 2000, let alone Dean in 2004.

Sanders seized on the inequality issue and the groundwork done by the Occupy movement, Elizabeth Warren, etc.
