That should happen. Florida's Democrats couldn't even scare up someone to beat Rick Scott and had two tries.

When have I ever said that?

They're being taken in by a simplistic argument. No different than the low information voters that have voted Democrat for generations.

The rest of the response scarcely matters. There's only one line in that answer that's gonna be remembered and played over and over in the coming months.

And it was such a batshit stupid line to throw in. And I think she knew it too immediately after she said it, which is why she paused and did the "right, tim?" thing with that "oh Fuck, what did I just say?" look in her eyes.

    I sure did watch it.

Please, give me your positive spin on her answer. I'm dying to hear it.

She's talking about the coal miners going to work at renewable energy jobs, which would be safer for them than having their workplace cave in on them.

Right. OK. And, what percentage of laid off coal miners do you think would find renewable energy jobs?

Are they even qualified for them if they were available?

Wouldn't they be able to be trained?

Wouldn't just about anybody? "Being able to be trained" puts you only an inch closer to a job that may be a light year away.

It's a pretty radically different skill set, I'd think.
