I recently challenged some people on my Facebook feed to tell me what has been so bad about the last eight years, after a comment about "what this country has turned into the last eight years."

So far, we have established that Obama doesn't attend enough police funerals.

Well, duh, he established Sharia Law, took away guns, eliminated social security, let ISIS take over the entire West Coast, let Osama Bin Laden live, ruined traditional marriage by daring to allow da gays to be together, ruined an otherwise perfect healthcare system, doubled gas prices, tripled unemployment and gave rise to the Khardasians.
    All while ignoring DA CONSTATUTTION.

This is exactly how the government is supposed to play out, the Senate majority forces the president to nominate someone qualified who is palatable (yet less than ideal to either side) and the Senate must apply the Constitutional standards in confirming.

Yet, the idiot McConnell and his advisors decide to unilaterally ignore their Constitutional duty to apply some ad hoc "unwritten" LaRussa-type rule. I hope the electorate say enough is enough, let's elect people who actually do their job.

I'm just pumped this keeps my dream of Hillary becoming President and selecting Obama as the nominee in February alive.

    I'll cum.

When the President and Congress have an institutional fight, government shutdowns, etc., a majority always sides with the President. That's why the Democrats did nothing to end the Iraq War from 2007-2009, because even though the public had soured on the war, that public was always going to side with the Commander in Chief. Making this fight institutional instead of partisan was a huge unforced error.

As long as Mitch McConnell is around, Ted Cruz will never have better than the second most punchable face in Washington.

Seriously. Why are we letting someone with a taint-neck have such an important role in deciding the direction of the country?

LTL thinks you're stupid, because I raised this point too a couple of times and he said I was stupid.

A Bob Barker exception would have to be added to that amendment, though.
