Trump cheats at golf - the ONE and ONLY politics thread

I have to say that, for all the noise made about it, I really could give a fuck if Ted Cruz's colleagues like to go out for a beer with him. I'm frankly tired of hearing about it.

 

It's pretty unusual to have a candidate for president that almost no one in his party has a positive thing to say about and many will openly rip to shreds.

And the GOP has two!

Worse and worser.

 

I think the fact that people are adapting this is unfortunate. This was Trump as a classic bully and the public, even many who wag their finger at him generally, is eating it up because they don't like his target either. You're part of the reason his schtick works and it's embarrassing.

 

Let's see if Trump has power. Can he go into COngressional Districts and campaign for Republicans, and can they then win?

 

Interesting column in Wash Post about how a Trump election in November could still be thwarted by the Electoral College. That'd be a fitting end to the craziest presidential election in recent memory -- if the Election College members decided not to rubber stamp his election.
