That's just a post about the Nightengale article, which was already posted in the thread. And as mentioned, Nightengale had only second hand sources. He didn't talk to a single player who was against Drake's presence. Not that I don't think it's possible that there are players who didn’t like having him around, but Nightengale's article does little to advance that point.

I kept waiting for some new reporting. I looked for a player, quoted anonymously, to say he had a problem with the situation.

Instead, his whole column is based on Nightengale's second hand info.

So, now we have third hand columns used to justify previously stated guesses about the situation?

Can any of these big shots report the fucking story?

Let's recap the reporting on this for a moment.

The White Sox beat writers, who are with the team day in and day out, either missed the huge story that Drake's presence pissed off teammates, or they knew and didn't report it, or it's not true.

And, even now, with the claim out in the open, not a single reporter has confirmed that even one player had an issue with Drake being there.

    Another huge victory for "access".

I thought this was about what school Drake LaRoche should be attending?

    I missed that one.

He did sneak a peek at the players in the clubhouse.
