I'm tired or servers or cashiers calling me hun, touching me or telling me their life story if I reply, "Fine, how are you?" when they ask me first. Leave me the alone "hun."

I hate being asked "Have you ever been here before?" by a hostess at some chain restaurants. Hey Texas Roadhouse girl, even if I hadn't been here before, it's not like I can't figure out how to order one of your overcooked steaks, as if you're so different from the other steakhouse chains.

I almost always eat pizza with a fork. Too damn many mouth-roof-scorchings in my early years, and I learned my lesson. I also don't want to hear about how I eat hamburgers with a fork and knife at restaurants. I don't want to shove a giant piece of food in my face. And I want my steaks and burgers well done.

Oh yeah... fuck chopsticks. We have forks for a reason.

I don't eat pizza with a fork, but I'll break out the silverware for a big, messy burger. I don't like wearing half of my dinner back to the office.

I can't remember the last time I ate hot pizza. I'll let it sit for an hour at home when we order in because I prefer it lukwarm/cold.

My wife does that with her "oriental" food (great new SJ meme, by the way). It drives me crazy.

If your Scotch tastes like bourbon, then you've got problems.

You ought to hear people talk about all the flavors they taste in various coffees.

I eat a lot of my food cold, and it drives my SO nuts.

I mean that bourbon tastes like bourbon. Not dried apricots or buttered popcorn.

I don't mind PF Chang's. I stop by the one in our local mall once in a while. I usually stick with the appetizers. The Thai lettuce wraps are pretty good and the egg drop soup is excellent.

I gotcha. Scotch and red wines really the things I can taste the difference in as the price goes up. Not necessarily in specific notes or flavors, but just in the smoothness and quality of flavor.

I don't mind it either. Eat there a few times a year. But it's not like it can be held up as authentic in comparison to a place like OG. On a related note, Carrabba's is my go-to for chain Italian.
