On that note, olives are gross. might be the only common food stuff I can't stand, for its texture and taste. Of course when a coworker went to Greece and brought back small gifts for everyone she gave me a jar of Greek olives.

Golden Corral: Yes, kinda gross. Give me Old Country Buffet any day.

Cracker Barrel: Not bad food, but like Ace said, I can't think of anything on that menu I would look forward to.

Olive Garden: I really like OG's food. But my wife says their tomato/marinara sauce is terrible, so I have to go by myself.

Pizza Hut: Much, MUCH improved with new menu, with the crust and swirl options.

Carrabba's: Pretty much even with OG for me.

IHOP: Love it, but none nearby.

Pizzeria Uno: Perhaps my favorite chain for pizza. But again, none nearby.

Yes! Tabasco is terrible. Well, not terrible, but just tasteless. It's just hot, with no added benefit. Give me Louisiana or Crystal, or even Cholula, any day of the week.

And yes! I will eat damn near anything, and I HATE olives. I have evolved on many things over the years, such as cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, etc. But no olives. I'll eat them if they are hiding on a supreme pizza or something, but if I see them I'll pick them off. And I couldn't tell you the last time I ate a whole olive. No thanks!

And I used to be critical of other people's choices in how they eat or prefer their food cooked. I have also evolved on that. It's your food, so have at it. You want ketchup on your brat? I might look at you funny or give you a hard time if you're a friend, but knock yourself out.

If you want ketchup on your brat, you can't successfully integrate into American society.

I'm glad Dick set the earlier benchmark for tongue-in-cheek observations.

I believe in Germany you get the death penalty for putting ketchup on bratwurst.

In the old days, they'd do the same if you asked for kosher bratwurst.

Looks like I'm the only big fan of Cracker Barrel. Their chicken and dumplings is my go-to meal, and I love their biscuits and Coca-Cola cake.

Love Golden Corral. Heck, love buffets.

Worst, shittiest meal I ever had was at a hugely expensive place in New Orleans. No prices on the menu, and they tried to serve me raw lamb.

    Olive Garden is crapola.

Count me in on Cracker Barrel. Denny's and Waffle House are OK but not in the same ballpark as CB and Bob Evans.

Discovered a nearby Jewish deli. Will be having breakfast there today.
