"London Has Fallen" -- Predictable ending, of course, but lots of good action. I didn't know Gerard Butler had it in him. How many movies have there been now in which London gets blown up?
Greek Wedding Deuce -- Fun, funny, good entertainment for a couple of hours. Grandma and Windex steal the show.

I'm curious what you didn't know Gerard Butler had in him?

Big enough balls -- or gusto, or toughness, or bad-assedness -- to pull off all the stuff he did in a suit and tie to save the day.

I think he's always had that, given some of the films he's been in. Heck, he plays the same character in "Olympus Has Fallen."

    And, of course, there's:

OK, guess I was wrong. Didn't see the above movie. I think I've only seen him in "The Bounty Hunter" (I was looking at Aniston the whole time) and "Chasing Mavericks." Achilles and probably Hector would have kicked his ass.

If you haven't seen "300," you should definitely check it out. Super stylish, strange and badass telling of the Battle of Thermopylae. A lot of slow motion, abs, arrows and spears. Plus a naked Lena Headey (before she was banging her brother on "Game of Thrones").

"Chasing Mavericks" was an underrated movie. I really liked it. Butler was pretty badass in "Law Abiding Citizen" as well.

Had an Easter brunch with my family today and then made it a little bit of an untraditional holiday for me by going to a Studio Movie Grill and taking in "Miracles From Heaven."

I usually like such movies, but still, it was quite a bit better than I'd anticipated. Based on real-life events, it's a great family movie -- engaging and well-acted by the three leads (Jennifer Garner, Kylie Rogers and Martin Henderson) and it packed a surprisingly emotional wallop at times. I recommend it.

I took my son and three other 14-year-olds to Batman V Superman on Saturday. They loved it and were intrigued by the possible story lines it set into motion for future movies. The re-invention of long-established characters was one of the reasons why I liked the movie a bit less. Didn't hate it, but thought that some aspects were a bit silly.

Cloverfield Lane was very well done IMHO. Several twists and turns that made me rethink.

Made the call to let the 6 teenage boys go to Superman v. Batman and I'll go see what I want. Glad I did because the boys were clowning their movie afterwards.

I am going to see Batman vs. Superman it with my 21-year-old tonight.

Just because I don't get the chance to do stuff with him with work, school, girlfriend and all. And he's busy, too.

That's more important than the content of the film. Enjoy!!!
