There was a discussion and some disagreement with the server. We ultimately blamed the confusion on Canadians.

Bagel and lox, latkes, matzo ball soup if you've got room.

    Ben's on 38th, or Sarge's on 3rd.

Jeeesus. I just died reading that. Sounds good but not something you ought to be doing regularly.
But damnnnn. It sounds so good.

Yeah, I'm guessing Ruth's was just a bit easier to get into than St. Elmo's during Indy 500 week for a group of 40 or so.

And yes, Harry & Izzy's is the sister restaurant next door and quite good. Same ownership plus Peyton Manning has a stake, I believe. The famous shrimp cocktail is there and the burgers/sandwiches are excellent and reasonably priced. Or if you want to drop a St. Elmo's-sized amount of cash on a big steak, you can do that too.

I'm usually content with Cracker Barrel or the like, but nothing beats real, quality biscuits and gravy. And I do mean nothing.

Anybody ever been to Better Than Sex? The original is in Key West, and they recently opened a second location in Orlando.
It's a great concept. Nothing on the menu but desserts and drinks, all with double entendre names. Haven't been to the Orlando one, but the one in Key West is dimly lit and designed for couples -- booths, tables of two and four, small and cozy in the dining room. The drinks all come with chocolate or caramel on the glass that you have to lick off, and the desserts are made to share.
Basically, if you take a date there and DON'T get laid afterward, you ain't trying.

No, but I've been to Garden of Eden in KW. Didn't get laid there (fortunately, if you've ever been).
