It's CNN. A fender-bender in Des Moines during the caucuses is breaking news. They've made the term all but meaningless.

 

I went to a Trump rally and couldn't even get groped!

 

Yeah, I'm at a bit of a loss regarding what is controversial about what Trump said. If abortions are illegal, it pretty much directly follows that they would be punishable.

 

He said the quiet parts loud, as usual.

 

It's the same mindset that leads to a liberal freak-out every time that a conservative says that he would not support an exception for rape and incest.

 

Baby killers and people who put ketchup on hot dogs should be judged.

Back when they were illegal, was the woman getting one punished or the person performing them?

 

I was wondering that, as well.

But it doesn't seem OUTRAGEOUS! to me to suggest that the woman would face a consequence.

 

In a prostitution sting, the john gets his picture in the paper in a lot of jurisdictions. Why not an Abortion Roundup too?

 

Trump has issued a statement reframing his remarks. He'd only push for punishment of the person performing the procedure, not the woman getting it.
