Why does everything need to be so black and white? As pern said, shades of grey.

Completely agree. I've expressed my disdain for Trump plenty here, but this whole deal is BS.

Please provide evidence, even one link.

Yep, and it affects a separate life. An abortion does not affect a separate life.

The whole thing is a ratfuck, a fraud, a charade staged by Team Trump through Breitbart, one of its internet mouthpieces and hot-air hydrants.
Breitbart has been head-over-heels on its knees for Trump all year. The "reporter" is an inflatable-doll bimbo with a long history of attention-whore stunts.
She gets 14 minutes of fame, Trump gets three more days in the news cycle plus he gets to bitch some more about how the media is out to get him and how he put that bitch in her place.
At absolute worst Lewandowski pays a nickel-dime fine. In a couple weeks Trump sends the bimbo a paper bag full of cash and it all goes away.

Certainly. A fetus is not a separate life until it's born.

This is not only wrong but exactly backwards. If trump is the nominee, it is a repudiation of everything the party stands for (or at least ought to stand for). Even if he wins it's a loss. If someone steals it from him and loses, they're dole, McCain or Romney. We can live with that.

If you're a voter, and you're told that you should vote because the candidate with the most votes wins and you should support someone, and then the guy who has the most votes doesn't win, what does that say about your electoral process?

You're thinking of the anti-abortion position as punishing the woman for getting pregnant, but outside of the perception of much of the the left, no pro-lifer actually feels that way. They're against abortion because they believe there's a life / potential life worth protecting. If that's the case then the circumstances of conception are irrelevant. If the victim is young or fragile and the pregnancy poses a real risk to her life or health, that's a different equation. Rape is a horrific, violent crime that leaves many consequences on its victims- physically, emotionally, psychologically, and sometimes one of those consequences is a baby.

Another misconception is that pro-lifers don't value bodily autonomy of women. Everyone I know would put that as a core, fundamental value that would carry the day in nearly every conflict. The problem is that abortion, like almost no other question (death with dignity question tread similar ground) pits that supreme value against human life in a real clash of titanic interests. Honest, well-meaning, moral people can differ as to which value takes precedence. Unfortunately, that is not the level at which the conversation usually goes.
