Salon publishes a "why Hillary's in trouble" hot take every other day. They know where their clicks are buried.

Hillary has a new wardrobe and new haircut. Has Salon hot-takezed that yet?

Was the other co-author having sex with the wife as well? Seems that would be essential.

I will add that it's not a great look for Bernie Bros, either, to be heckling her campaign stops.

Is Donald Trump Self-Destructing? - The New Yorker

[A]bortion is far from the only issue on which Trump tends to waffle or goof up when he is asked detailed questions. The same thing applies to his foreign policy, his trade policy, even his calls to deport illegal immigrants and ban Muslims from entering the United States. Ask him how he would round up eleven million people or which nationalities would be on his no-entry list, and he can’t answer. Trump doesn’t do details. He never has.

When there were ten, or six, candidates in the Republican field, and a televised debate was taking place every week, this didn’t matter much. The jostling in the horse race was the big story, and Trump could get away with generalizations. Now the contest is down to three candidates; there aren’t any debates to dominate the daily news cycle; and the Never Trump folks are harrying the front-runner constantly. With the spotlight on him, the cracks in his candidacy are becoming all too visible.

This has always been my major issue with him, as well. Far more than his specific policy positions.

Trump's not an expert on a lot of these issues, clearly. His willingness to actually take, and attempt to answer, questions from someone like Chris Mathews, on a subject like abortion exposes this.

But, let's imagine a scenario where Hillary is grilled on her position, by someone like Dick, and actually tries to defend it, instead of shutting it down with, "that's above my pay grade," type answers on when life begins.

She'd come across like smallpotatoes or Baron.

But, she'll never be grilled like that, and would never attempt to give honest answers.

At the very least, America should be able to produce an entire field of presidential candidates for whom it can safely go without saying that they wouldn't nuke a continent full of hundreds of millions of our allies.

Oh, give me a break. This is nonsense. I disagree with Hillary about just about everything, and find her distasteful and dishonest etc. She is a serious person who has thought seriously about the major questions of our day that the President will deal with. Trump is a product of reality TV. Your calisthenics to defend Trump against all charges is reminiscent of many here on either extreme but somewhat uncharacteristic of you.

Have you ever heard Hillary have a true discussion about abortion? Has she had to defend her beliefs, and actually tried to do so?

Pointing out the differences in how each party is treated on this issue is no defense of Trump.

It's funny how so many characterize Hillary as dishonest. Can you name a president that you thought was honest with the American people?

It's a job where you say one thing to this group and that group is bent out of shape. You also have to keep things secret like the aliens in Nevada and all that.

It's not really a job well-suited for someone who shoots straight all the time.

I was pulling for Trump to get the nomination for the shitstorm that would ensue, but a brokered convention would be a Category 5 of whirling feces.
