I want to be sure I'm correct on this: You're advocating late-term abortion as an answer to the temporary problem of antepartum depression?

Come on ... if you're going to admit you're wrong, you're going to need to do better than that. [/YALLKNOWWHO]

No, he's just saying that to be against that is to be an anti-abortion extremist.

    Oh, fuck off.

Every four years Republicans are asked all sorts of stupid questions in the course of a Republican primary that aren't relevant to Republican primary voters.

Abortion is a major issue. Hillary has not been pressed on the issue to the degree that Republicans have been pressed on it.

    Trump looked stupid.

Let's see someone press Hillary. She's the smartest woman in America, for God's sake. We'd probably all learn something.

She's one of those smart, independent women who terrify me and MisterCreosote.

I have a different, related question: If Democrats don't get pushed enough on abortion during the primary season, why do Republicans get pushed so hard about it?

You would think that the voters would have similar desires for information: Republican voters want to know which candidate is farthest right. Democratic voters, particularly women, want to know who is the farthest left.

    I'm confused.

Do they now just have to say they are "severely depressed" or express a fear that they might become "severly depressed" if forced to have the baby in order to be granted a mental health exception to a late term abortion ban?

I thought they would have to threaten to kill themselves in order to be granted such an exception.

    Which is it?

How do we quantify "severely depressed"?

    Fair enough.

"We" should not be quantifying it. Doctors should be quantifying it.

I agree. Republicans ask all sorts of stupid questions of one other. It's been especially fun to watch this year.

But it would be silly for Democrats to engage in such silliness just because Republicans behave like clowns.
