    Myself, I can't stand water.

Anyone who drinks water should slink away in shame.

My wife did those last weekend with some onion mixed in, and I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

And mayo is the worst thing in the world. I grabbed a late dinner at Cookout tonight after my long-ass train ride and they fucked up and put mayo on the burger. I damn near whipped that motherfucker out the window when I saw that.

Loooove mayo on a burger. Fresh cooked, greasy burger off the grill. Ketchup, mustard, mayo. MAYBE fresh lettuce and tomato. Yes, please.

So if I'm learning anything from this thread, it's that every condiment is essentially diarrhea in a squeeze bottle and if you put any of them on your food you're an uncultured 7-year-old.

Naw, I much prefer boiled hot dogs. Grilled hot dogs are too inconsistent for me. They always seem to be too burnt, or unevenly cooked. Boiling cooks them nice and even.

I love Carolina mustard, which I can only find at a regional chain called Rib Crib.

Steamed hot dogs are so much better than boiled. I never boil hot dogs.

Back in the day, Arkansas-Little Rock played its basketball games at the old, OLD Barton Coliseum, a few miles from campus. The meal for the media and stat crew consisted of hot dogs cooked in an industrial-sized coffee maker. They were lovingly (?) referred to as coffee pot dogs. People still talk about them in The Rock, and that was two arenas ago.

You're probably right, but as far as home preparation boiling is so much easier. Whenever I eat hot dogs at home, it's usually when I'm in a bit of a hurry. I can boil them and be eating in under 15 minutes. Clean up is easy, too. All you have is a pot and a couple of plates.
I'm not setting up and cleaning the grill in 15 minutes, and I'm not sure how to steam them with pots and pans I have in a normal kitchen.
    So, boiling it is.

Get a grill pan. Iron flat skillet with ridges. Easy as boiling, not hard to clean, tastes way better.
