Bittman has a Chinese dish that uses ketchup. It's legitimately good. I've made it twice.

Huh. There was a pork dish I had years ago made with ketchup and green peppers among a few other ingredients. It was surprisingly good, but I failed numerous times to replicate it.

Moddy says, "you do you"... well, every time I try that I get interrupted and it hurts like the devil.

Second... hot dogs are only good for imitating a load in the toilet. They're not food.

Stadium Mustard, made famous in Cleveland, is amazing on dogs, and sausages as well.

That's the pizza my son and I had for lunch today. Used a knife and fork for the first two slices, ate the third with my hand. It was hot as hell and very delicious

I looked at the menu for that place. Very interesting number of pizza options.

We go at least once every time I visit. Our favorite custard place (and burger place) is nearby. The pizza is ridiculous.
Their special today was a Reuben pizza. Thousand Island instead of sauce, meat, sauerkraut and swiss. For some reason, we didn't pull the trigger even though we love Reubens.

This probably belongs on the Pet Peeves thread, but the proliferation of Reubens featuring Thousand Island rather than Russian dressing.

California is awash in bad Reubens with Thousand Island dressing instead of Russian.

Down with Thousand Island - Up with Russian!

And here I thought Thousand Island/Russian were essentially the same? Guess not. Maybe they did say Russian dressing.
