The Dems have always accepted Sanders as a member of their caucus, and given him committee assignments. It's not like they were ever embarrassed by him.

In a more action-directed society he'd be tied to the bumper of a pickup and dragged about 50 miles out in the woods, but other remedies will have to be sought.

Basically, no parent ever should allow a child of either gender alone in a room with him. I wouldn't be too wild about shaking those stumpy little hands, either, unless they'd first been scrubbed with a world class spermicidal and disinfectant agent.

I've been scanning Wisconsin stories this morning, and for the first time in my life I experienced a pang of sympathy for our nation's political reporters. I'd sure hate to write nothing but stories with conditional clauses, verbs and adjectives in them. It's like writing a gamer after every basket, or considering the campaign pace, after every inning is a more appropriate comparison.
