I thought the media was a bunch of left-wing diehards who would rather move to Canada than see a Republican elected.
    I'm so confused.

Nah. Fox News doesn't want Trump.

CNN's done more on Trump than anyone.

The Globe idea, which is for an opinion page, is clever as hell.

    Nope, it's the Establishment-Frontrunner-Runs-Out-The-Clock school.

The Dems designed the primary calendar for Hillary to build a lead down South and nurse it home. It's just taking longer to shake Bernie than they expected.

Krugman from a couple days ago:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/08/opinion/sanders-over-the-edge.html?_r=0

Holding people accountable for their past is O.K., but imposing a standard of purity, in which any compromise or misstep makes you the moral equivalent of the bad guys, isn’t. Abraham Lincoln didn’t meet that standard; neither did F.D.R.

    and

The Sanders campaign has brought out a lot of idealism and energy that the progressive movement needs. It has also, however, brought out a streak of petulant self-righteousness among some supporters. Has it brought out that streak in the candidate, too?

No room for self-righteousness in politics.

The Daily News editorial board interview exposed Bernie for anyone who genuinely cares to look. There's a lot of nothing in his policy positions.

Is Krugman calling someone else self-righteous?

Nobody ever seems to argue any of the points in a Krugman column; they just take shots at Krugman himself. I assume that's because he's usually right and that bothers the people who hate that Keynesian economic policy actually works.

I just have a problem with strong bearded, Jewish economists in positions of power.
