Can't be too careful. Better not to say anything than be mistaken for a sexist.

    She's an embarrassingly bad politician.

Not only that, but while the Clinton camp has spent all kinds of energy painting Bernie's supporters as misogynistic "Bros.", to the point where he's been asked to publicly repudiate them by the media, Hillary's supporters are just as bad.

But, has anyone here read about the ugly attacks directed at Jane Sanders by Hillary's fans?

    Liberals can't be sexist?

    Sure they can.

So, why are we pretending that the only sexist liberals are Bernie supporters, directing their venom towards Hillary?

Political reporting continues to be driven by preidefined narratives. It's embarrassing, and we deserve better.

No, I hadn't heard about the attacks on Jane Sanders by this Twitter account obviously in the hands of a very disturbed person who has 43 followers and about two retweets. It could be a game changer.

Sure they can, IF there were any real and legitimate evidence to base it on. But there's not here. She's trying to contort words to concoct sexism allegations out of nothing, apparently because her camp's decided that's a strategy to win back those wandering eyes.

Again, it reeks of desperation. Desperation tactics that the clear frontrunner shouldn't need to resort to.

Nobody's "pretending" that. That's your bias deceiving you.

Bernie's supporters have been called sexist repeatedly. What other group of liberals has faced similar criticism/scrutiny?

So, either they're the only liberals who are sexist, or there's no interest in finding any others.

There's "nothing interest?" You really were in a hurry to post that one.

There are two Democratic candidates running for president. One is a woman. You expect the media to go looking for sexism in the campaign of a woman running for president? There are plenty of things to criticize about Clinton. That doesn't seem like the best avenue to take.

Yeah, YF, the first thing you have to do when covering a campaign is decide what you're going to ignore.

"Is sexism the basis of a meaningful amount of the support for the male candidate in the race?" is an interesting question. "Does the female candidate have some shitheads, just like every other person who ever ran for office and had any supporters?" is not.

Your idea of what fair coverage would look like is coverage that would feed into your biases, take down the people you don't like.
