I agree with your second part. For 5 innings he's a beast and then he starts losing it.

I'd begin his transition into a closer now.

Cubs' run differential of +43 through nine games is the second best ever, behind only the 1999 Indians at +44. It is better than the other five division leaders combined.

The White Sox have a 2.25 ERA thus far and the Cubs a 2.34 ERA.

This has been a fun month.

Jeremy Hazelbaker went 2-for-5 and hit his third homer Thursday against the Brewers.

Advice: He's no Trevor Story, but Hazelbaker has a .481 average and a 1.000 slugging percentage after 27 at-bats. Matt Holliday seems obsolete at this point, but the Cardinals will work to juggle their outfield so that everyone plays.

No Elijah sightings in MLB since the Nats passed-over him in 2010

I see what you did there.

Talk about a waste of talent.

I hope so, but nobody cares about my fantasy baseball team. :)

Like Poop, I am a prideful man, but unlike Poop, willing to admit I am wrong.
I was wrong about Mat Latos- he has been awesome in the early going.
I just wanted to make the admission, and in public.
