Osborn can be done better. I'd leave Doctor Octopus alone. Count me among the many who think they should bring J.K. Simmons over from the Raimi series.

On the topic of Marvel, here's a new Civil War clip. Just to show I can be nice to Fart.

It seems like this is the Marvel movie that pulls all of the previous plot strings (minus Rocket and Groot, I suppoe) together. I'm pumped.

Actually, Keaton -- with a brush cut and a Hitler mustache -- would probably make a hell of a J. Jonah.

Unless maybe he has some concerns about getting typecast as a newspaper editor. But at 65, who cares about typecasting?

Simmons was perfect as Jameson, and so was Molina as Doc Ock. I can't think of anyone who looks the part of Norman Osborne/Green Goblin better than Dafoe, but as you said, they didn't quite nail the character (the costume was soooooo awful).

Third trailer for X-Men: Apocolypse was released today. Worth it just for the funny moment with Quicksilver and "We had a little help" at the end.

I think it's pretty safe at this point to call "Batman v. Superman" a medium-to-massive disaster.

Yeah. Everything I saw predicted it needed $800-900 million to break even. Looks like that's going to be about where it ends up. I would think it makes something, but it's not the success they were looking for.

Considering they were coming in off of three massive bombshell-hit Batman movies, to have BvS be roughly as successful (neither more or less) than the underperforming "Man of Steel" is pretty much a big time bed-shitting.

I don't disagree at all. Wondering if they'll be bringing in someone to help Snyder with the universe as a whole instead of letting him keep the reins himself. George Miller has been rumored.
