Grade 1 sprain is the best that could have been hoped for under the circumstances. Damn, how much does Montejunas generate? I remember playing against literally sweaters and thinking I'll switch to someone else.

Where did he say it was tainted? He was very complimentary of their talent and the way they play.

    Read the article.

I read it, seems a bit of a backhanded compliment to me; he's complimentary of their performance but adds the health factor. I'm probably wrong, but that's how I read it, especially given the Cavs' situation during the Finals. He could have just said, "they won, that's all that matters, that's all history cares about." Of course, he didn't.

I sure wish LeBron wouldn't have said anything substantive. We need more of that.

So much for the Clippers giving the Warriors a series.

The way the last couple of days have gone, I don't think we can assume anything.

Short of a plane crash, the night could not have gone worse for the Clippers.

"Those guys all play for one common goal and that's to win, and that's all that matters."

As to the health part, it's not a slight to say the series might have gone differently if Curry was injured and/or Kyrie Irving wasn't.

Let's see how Golden State deals with injuries. Cavs dealt with them and came two games away from winning it all.

Really don't think the Clippers sans Paul or the Blazers at full strength can beat a Steph-less Warriors four out of seven.

The Warriors will be fine without Steph. The only team deeper than them are the Spurs, and he should be a full go by the West finals.
