Apparently it was a tainted title.

But, it has to be slightly worrisome that he's now picked up two injuries in one series. It's hard to believe that he's going to rest for two weeks and then be 100 percent, or, play himself to full health.

The dunk is obviously great but I rather like how Jordan saw what was about to happen and dropped down to almost block it.

Most of what I've read in the last couple days indicates that the knee injury is just that -- when it's healed and you're back out there, it's over and there shouldn't be much lingering effect nor increased chance of re-injury.

The ankle is a different story, but a threat he has been dealing with for years. That's definitely the bigger issue going forward.

I wonder about the Olympics. I'm thinking he won't play, but the pressure to be there will be intense for sure.

Olympics are not an issue. Krzyzewski will just lay hands upon the ankle and he'll be better than ever. He did a great job keeping Old Roy out of hell

Think it's important to note the Warriors are shutting him down for two weeks, then they'll reevaluate. No guarantees he'll be back.

Olympics? If I'm Steve Kerr, I'm blocking all airport access points.

There's got to be zero chance he plays in the Olympics. Team has to put the kabash on that.

While the ankle is worrisome because of his history with that injury, the knee is just 100 percent a fluke. You can't blame Steph for getting hurt after sweaty dude falling on the ground just one second before he takes a step to plant his foot in that exact spot. I don't know how you prevent that short of having instant liquid absorbent flooring.

Bosh actually missed a significant stretch of the 2012 playoffs. While Wade didn't miss games, he was hardly 100%.

Clips to be without Griffin for rest of series as well. Avoid the rush, get the lovely parting gifts ready now.

The TNT crew is probably gassing up the boat now. I suppose Crawford could maybe go insane and keep them in a game, but it seems unlikely. Meanwhile, Portland is seemingly clear into the second round, and a Blazers-Warriors series seems like great fun.

I don't think that's really the Warriors doing it. That's just the standard treatment for the injury.
