Not only the primaries, but her campaign for California governor vs. Jerry Brown was an epic fail. But, a lot of the themes Cruz hits on.

 

Candidate Obama balanced his inexperience and position as a newcomer to the Democratic Party with a VP who was a well-established leader in the party.

Cruz has chosen a VP who is pretty much viewed as a female version of, well ... Ted Cruz.

 

The only part that matters to him is "female." He certainly appears to be one of those "types" who think simply putting a woman, any woman, regardless of her belief system, background or experience, on the ticket will equal more female votes.

 

Ted Cruz is the Sam Bradford of presidential candidates.

 

And this is why we have Sarah Palin.

 

A Cruz-Fiorina electoral map will greatly resemble Goldwater's map. Places that haven't voted blue since 1964 will be flipping. Only ticket more viscerally repulsive would be Cruz-Palin.

Actually, this is true. But I feel like Fiorina at least earned some respect with her performance in the early debates. And TrusTED could do a hell of a lot worse.
