Corey Kluber with no-hit stuff tonight.

Well then you were very well-positioned to call everyone else out.

Shocked. Not at the money but that SS would sign in DC. The Orchid is respected by the fan base, but not overly well liked.

7 years is shorter than expected, but he'll opt out after 2 maybe 3.

I have no skin in the game. No dog in this fight. I didn't vote one way or the other on Strasburg's future.

The reports are the opt-outs are after years three and four

Kluber's no-hitter lasted about as long as a Dick Whitman SJ.com break at work.

Boras probably just got back the private medical report.

I hate long-term deals for pitchers, but I can't super blame them for this one.

They would have been paying $30M/year if they wanted to sign him on the open market, so it's hard to blame them. He's 27 now, so I'd say they did a hell of a lot better than the Red Sox, who signed a 30-year-old David Price to a seven year, $217M deal. The big question, of course, is if Strasburg will ever be a guy who consistently throws 180-200 innings per season during the course of that contract.

With Dusty, SS will throw 2oo innings by August

    He'll have TJ surgery again.
